Almost all the best work from his early albums is here with a few extra like "Who Killed Davey Moore?". The book's original price was $10.95. The 144 pages have the complete songs but are layed out efficiently.
There are plenty of newer Dylan songbooks today with more pictures, guitar tab, CDs,4 to 8 page song layouts, fancy hard covers and hundreds of pages.
My Dylan library also includes a 1973 book of just lyrics and one of those new expensive songbooks of songs from 1966-1975. The old paper Bob Dylan Songbook is the clearly the best value. I owned a copy years ago with great satisfaction. I was thrilled to find Amazon had a replacement available.
This book deserves reprinting in it's original format but if that doesn't happen get an old copy where ever you can. Older Bob Dylan fans will totally appreciate this volume.
